scte65scan works for those providers (i.e. Comcast) that
transmit the information for their DTA devices. Not all
providers do. However, the scte 65 data only provides
data for the Standard Definition channels, since the DTAs
currently shipping only provide SD support . That means
some channel mappings are not available.

SiliconDust also provides some of the same info
on their web site in the support/channels area
(HDHRs upload detected channels so that
can be used by others). This does not provide
a virtual channel number, but does provide all
channel freq/programids that can be received
via clear QAM/ATSC.

And SchedulesDirect has a project to collect the
cable virtual channel to freq/programid mappings
with use of the HDHR Prime providing a more
complete list.

I have found that one needed to use both the
scte 65 data *and* the SiliconDust data to
get what I needed for MythTV. The Schedulesdirect
database should be able to do it all if there
are sufficient people with HDHR Primes
that are able/willing to upload the mappings.
