A little more info...my files are set to record as "mpg" in myth but that doesn't seem to matter. mediainfo shows the following when looking at a recording. You would *THINK* that Windows would decode it fine, but no...same with playbook. Not sure how to interpret this...

Subject: [mythtv-users] Playing Myth recordings on Blackberry Playbook
I tried copying some MythTV recordings to my playbook, but they won't play. I suspect its the container/codec (which is the extent of my knowledge on this topic).
Is there a way to make Myth record in a standard codec/container like mp4? (I'm sure someone will point out there are many options in that standard). You know what I mean.
I don't really want to setup a conversion job to duplicate every recording just for export, but I'm not sure what my options are. I read on the wiki about players/directshow filters for the PC, but no help for the playbook.
Help?
