I'm having trouble getting HDMI audio out on a PNY GT430. This is a
MythTV box that originally had a GT220 in it that was running fine with
HDMI audio out until the card died. I couldn't find any GT220s and am
trying to get this GT430 up.

CentOS 5.7 x86_64 with current updates. All packages from ATrpms. Nvidia
275.36 installed. Alsa 1.0.24 kmdls, utils and drivers installed.

Card is not muted in alsamixer.

$aplay -l
**** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices ****
card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 0: ALC662 rev1 Analog [ALC662 rev1 Analog]
   Subdevices: 1/1
   Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 1: ALC662 rev1 Digital [ALC662 rev1
Digital]
   Subdevices: 1/1
   Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 1: NVidia [HDA NVidia], device 3: HDMI 0 [HDMI 0]
   Subdevices: 1/1
   Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

Card is clearly connected, I get an image on the screen through the
stereo. But running speaker-test, I get nothing:

$speaker-test -c 2 -r 48000 -D hw:1,3

speaker-test 1.0.24.2

Playback device is hw:1,3
Stream parameters are 48000Hz, S16_LE, 2 channels
Using 16 octaves of pink noise
Rate set to 48000Hz (requested 48000Hz)
Buffer size range from 64 to 16384
Period size range from 32 to 8192
Using max buffer size 16384
Periods = 4
was set period_size = 4096
was set buffer_size = 16384
0 - Front Left
1 - Front Right
Time per period = 5.634415

Does anyone have any ideas? As I said, this setup was working with a
GT-220. I was forced to upgrade from CentOS 5.5 to 5.7 after installing
the 430 so I must have missed something.

Thanks,
Kirk Bocek
