A proper emailer will do most of it for you, for instance my Claws cuts
off the footer after separator. Separator is -- in case you didn't know.
All that Mike wrote was obvious and used on all emails before Microsoft
came to email arena with their first email app.
I wonder if somewhere on the web is a page that presents emailing
conventions as there is one for smart posting:
