[mythtv-users] Bad picture quality for HD on frontend

Sanjeev,

I did the same thing last week.  I had a drive fail on my box and ended up
loading Ubunto 11.10.  I had the same play back symptom of a mostly white
screen and snow on 1080i playbacks.  I cured it by going into the front end
setup and changing the playback profile from defalut to one that included a
1080  playback option.  I think it was the hd selection.
