We never fully make assurances of "stability" regardless of releases.
However, is it usable as is now?  Mostly.  Should you try it?  That
depends on your personal situation, and your capability/ability/desire
to help debug any remaining issues.

I personally have run the cutting edge from well before I became a
developer.  You just need to remember that there are going to be bugs,
and sometimes they may be quite nasty.  We are in a feature freeze
now, and we are all supposed to be focusing on bug reduction.  To this
end, having some brave users actually starting to use it can be
extremely helpful, as we only have so many different configurations
and sets of hardware available to us.

So, if you are up for some adventure, and don't have someone who will
kick your posterior if she sees as much as a frame glitch (or
whatever), by all means go for it.  Is it completely ready for
release?  Nope.
