[mythtv-users] Blackgold's BGT3620 card

I was wondering whether anyone has had any success using the Ubuntu 
binary drivers, version 1.0.0.791 with mythtv?  I've got a couple of the 
cards in a machine and, although I've managed to get them working, they 
appear to be incredibly unstable.  Often I get a kernel panic when 
opening the driver.  I've used them from MS Media centre under windows 
7, so I know the hardware works.

I've emailed a backtrace to blackgold's support on a couple of occasions 
(the last one over a month ago) but not received any response.  There 
don't appear to be any symbols in the modules, so I'm not sure they'd be 
much use anyway.  I notice on the website that they've removed the text 
about expecting to integrate them into the kernel source, which doesn't 
bode well.
