I have noticed this as well, some times commercial breaks are caught very
well, I may see a
second a commercial before Myth jumps to where the show resumes and some
times it misses
them all together. I know that commercial detection is far from perfect
but I don't think it relates
to the color palette of the show as much as as it does the region as I get
this same behavior out
of commercial detection in newer color shows.
