To that think a change like this won't impact you because you use OTA exclusively is to ignore the fact that it will negatively impact a majority of Americans who don't know that OTA is an option or for whom it is not.  If the FCC allows this, it increases the power of Big Cable at the expense of consumers and small businesses.  There's no good side to this for anyone but the corporations.  Isn't the FCC supposed to be looking out for the people?  And not just finding ways to make it easier for the corporations!?

(AllVid sounds like a good option, but the way Big Cable & Big STB alliance implemented CableCard doesn't make me feel good about how they would implement something like that.)  

Anyone know who to contact?  How to get involved in opposition?  Anything more than "contact your representative"?
