It means if the starttime is a weekday, it will record Mon-Fri, but if 
the starttime is a weekend day, it will record Mon-Sun (or Sun-Sat or 
whatever a week start/end is for you :).

TTBOMK, the only way you could get that specific (i.e. record on every 
weekday except Friday) without a schedule is to use a Custom/Power 
Recording Rule.  Then again, it's probably close enough to do the 
Mon-Friday rule and then delete the Friday recordings you don't want 
since Schedules Direct should have your lineup updated soon.

Then again, chances are you don't need to wait--you just need to edit 
the xmltvids (and feel free to edit channel numbers and callsigns while 
you're at it) using the mythtv-setup or MythWeb channel editor so that 
they match up with the current Comcast lineup, then do a:  
mythfilldatabase --dd-grab-all
