[mythtv-users] mythweb not deleting recordings?

Recording Groups are just (generally) user-specified group names for organizing recordings--i.e. you can create Recordings Groups for Movies and Cooking and Science and ... and then use those names as a filter in (or "group name" in the left column of) Watch Recordings to quickly find the shows you want to watch.  The Deleted recording group is a special group created by MythTV to use as a delete queue--to allow you to delete a recording whenever you want--even if it's in use by MythTV at the time you say to delete it.

Thanks for the thorough explanation Mike! I've never really used Recording Groups so when anyone mentions a group I immediately jump to Storage Groups. Can you name the Recording Groups anything you want? How do I create a Recording Group?
