[mythtv-users] MythTV Android Frontend issue

I tried this version last night and was able to see the recording list
(thanks!). However it only played the video at a few frames a second using
MX Player. I saw you mentioned Dice Player, so I downloaded and installed
that and the video played just fine, however it paused repeatedly while it
buffered. Not sure if that was due to the network connection (Wi-Fi) or
the slow transcoding (slow backend). I'm guessing it may have been the
transcoding not keeping up. I looked on the backend status page and could
see the stream status.

I stopped the playback on my device and waited for the stream to be fully
transcoded, however when I went back into the recording list I saw that it
had duplicate listings for the program for each time I had selected it (the
same program was listed about six times). When I tried to play the stream
I saw that it started a new stream transcoding rather than playing the one
that was already completely transcoded (the backend showed two listings for
the same program with one at 100% and another at 0%).

Any ideas on these issues? I greatly appreciate the work on this app and
fixing the recording list not displaying.

Thanks,
Bob
