Why would you want to plug the Hauppauge IR receiver into your DCX700 box? I
don't see what use that is.
THe Hauppauge IR receiver is used so that /you/ can tell the frontend what you
want it to do. You can't do that by connecting it any other way.
All you need between your PVR-250 and the DCX700 is a blaster, which you appear
to have connected. You don't need anything else. The DCX700 already has a
built-in IR receiver, which should communicate with the remote control you
received with it.
