yes, the wiki *really should be updated*, but there are countless
threads on the new MythMusic plugin in the mailing list, if you read
through them there conversation as to how the new plugin "works".

needless to say, many people have found workarounds with other music
playback systems launched from the main menu, which can also be found
by searching the mailing list.
