Hi all,
My current output device is a 720 resolution TV (well a 1360x768
display). I'm looking at upgrading my mythtv box to handle TrueHD and
DTS-MA bitstreaming. I understand that many people notice an increase
in quality using the Advanced 2x deinterlacer, but I'm guessing that
most of these people are using a TV set with a 1080 display. Can any
users out there with 720 sets recommend if it's worth it to get the GT
430, 440, or even the 640 to get advanced 2x deinterlacing? Or will
something like 2x temporal be enough with a 720 display? There's
something to be said for the lower power consumption of the GT 520.
Thoughts?
-Greg
