Ah, thanks. Unfortunately it seems that XBMC doesn't support
timestretch, and the devs are apparently uninterested in adding it. On
the upside, it looks like XBMC can use an "external" player such as
VLC or mplayer that *does* do timestretch, but on the downside neither
of them support the RPi yet... sigh.
