pgrep shows mythbackend running, but socket cannot be reached from the
frontend/mythweb. /etc/init.d/mythtv-backend restart won't cut it, so
I'd have to pkill -9, and then /etc/init.d/mythtv-backend (re)start to
fix. this has been happening every alternate days or so since I
upgraded 0.26 a week ago.
slightly tangential, but
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2043046 &
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/mythtv/users/525330 got me now
working on going back to 0.25.
