onfigure&#39; line means that mythbackend cannot talk to the mysqld server.=

First check that it is running. As in the prior message, mysqld may not be =
starting properly due to systemd misconfiguration.<br>
Try &#39;systemctl status mysqld.service&#39;<br></blockquote><div><br></di=
v><div>Earlier in the log I see mysqld starting up 4 secs earlier, so I am =
thinking this might be a race between mysqld starting up and mythbackend st=
arting up. =A0This might=A0explain=A0why when the system is fully booted, I=

Then run mythtv-setup and check the entries on the first page are correct. =
Then make sure that config.xml and mysql.txt use the same values. If you us=
e the files just posted, they go in /var/log/mythtv as that is the &#39;hom=
e folder&#39; in that setup (not /home/mythtv)<br>

Check that there are no *other* config.xml or mysql.txt files around.<br></=
