If you look in Mythweb, does the description of that show has "Repeat"
in brackets? Or have a look with phpmyadmin whether there is a "1" in
the "first" field of that show in the "program" table.

Some channels don't provide all details. Here in the UK for instance
"Dave" doesn't have the season and episode all the time. Or maybe it's
the listing source who gets it wrong, I don't know.

I also don't think that the Original Airdate is used for that filter.
First at all in a lot of countries US shows are aired much later than
there. So people in these countries would miss new episodes quite
frequently if they would use that filter. Secondly I only have the year
without a month or day in the "original Air Date" field.
