If you're just ranting and not contributing any code to fulfill *your*
expectations to this project, you're surely not helping either. Most
of us got involved in the project because we wanted to improve some
specific area of MythTV. If you think that the usability should be
improved, then by all means, step up and do something about it. Don't
just complain and demand other people to do it for you.

....and you don't think developers have other things to do in their
real life, besides coding what *you* would like to see in MythTV?
Perhaps they have other things on their todo-lists, which they think
are more important than the things which you feel are important?

By all means, please step up and do something about it. The developers
doesn't necessarily volunteer for the MythTV project to fulfill your
specific needs.
