  sorry, I wasn't clear.. I wasn't able to get an successful udev
rule..Every thing I tried didn't create a rule... Here is though my rule....

KERNEL=="video*", ATTR{name}=="saa7164[0] mpeg (Hauppauge WinT",
ATTRS{vendor}=="0x1131", KERNELS=="0000:03:00.*", SYMLINK+="anolog1"

KERNEL=="video*", ATTR{name}=="saa7164[0] mpeg (Hauppauge WinT",
ATTRS{vendor}=="0x1131", KERNELS=="0000:03:00.*", SYMLINK+="anolog2"

KERNEL=="video*", ATTR{name}=="Hauppauge HD PVR",
ATTRS{vendor}=="0x8086", SYMLINK+="hdpvr"

I am aware I have this problem,so I check to see if the are on the
proper node after a re-boot..

If you do get a working udev rule,please let me know...
