You can't do a distupgrade from 10.10

you'll have to update to 11.04, then 11.10 then 12.04

IF you do update all at once (that is ubuntu *and* mythtv) make sure
you only ever reboot when you're 100% sure mythbackend has finished
doing its upgrade.
