My initial idea has XMLTV users in mind, and will be to:

i) mark all channels on video source invisible
ii) add relevant XMLTV IDs for supported channels, unset
useonairguide, renumber/name and set channel to visible
iii) for unsupported channels, set useonairguide, renumber/name and set visible

I'll need to add an option to ignore XMLTV completely so that users
can use EIT for all of their listings but still get support for
renumbering/naming of channels per the lineup configuration.

I also want to add support to allow renumbering channels on a video
source providing one lineup (e.g. Freeview) to match that of another
lineup (e.g. Freesat) to allow common channels on each source to have
the same channel number and callsign/name. This will allow the
scheduler to see these common channels as the same and make better use
of them when scheduling across sources.
