You're correct, there has been a lot of work done on Live TV, and I apologize (especially to danielk, who's been a rockstar on this front) if I appeared to dismiss that.  However, I think the assessment that there is a definite "why are you using Live TV anyways?" attitude among some of the developers when Live TV problems / questions arise.  This attitude is neither helpful to solving the problem, nor conducive to making the FULL MythTV product the best it can be.
