Oddly enough, everything with mine seems to be working quite well.
Playback is as good as ever...cpu usage looks great etc.

It just unnerves me to disable UseEvents as I've always had it
enabled, and over the years I seem to recall hearing endless reasons
why you should have it enabled.  That's definitely the culprit though.
 Here's what I get if I enable it.
