lol, can't beat a bit of 'terminal roulette' every now and then. ;) (I
occasionally paste entire XML files to the command line; beeping
ensues!)

Whilst this is wandering dangerously off topic, if you do a lot of
terminal based admin then GNU Screen (a terminal multiplexer) is well
worth a look. (Supports copy and paste between windows too.)
