[mythtv-users] Changing channels via http on Uverse VIP 1225

Does anyone know if it is possible to change channels on the Uverse Motorola VIP 1225 receiver via the network interface (as opposed to IR blasting).  I recently had to ditch DirecTV (H21 receiver) which had a nice http interface for the channel changing script to use.
