[mythtv-users] Myth loses first IR command after long idle time

I notice that if I don't use my remote for several minutes and then press a button, Myth seems to ignore the first press but respond the to the second press.  At first I thought it might be a remote issue, but I kept a SSH window open with IRW running, and I see that the host sees both the first and second presses (yet Myth only grabs the second).

After that second press, all presses are responded to normally until another long idle period.

I'm running .24.2.  Is this a Myth issue or something else?  Ideas?
