I have Windows 7 on a Core i7 with some kind of Radeon card - The pre-built
FE from that site seems to work pretty well, it even appears to offload
everything to the GPU. There are some caveats, though:

1) During install Symantec flags some files as being infected with a virus.
This has always been the case with these builds... I think I edited the wiki
to reflect this once butI don't know if that edit stuck.

2) The app does crash quite a bit, so a bit of patience is in order.
