It plays media stored on an external USB drive, just not Myth's transport streams, yet anyway.

Agreed, hence the OT comment.

I hadn't had any success trawling the Humax forums so thought I'd ask here, I'm not really expecting a great deal of response. The Humax forum residents seem far more interested in playing exported transport streams than anything else.
