Either :)
I have a HDHR3 and really like it. It overcomes some of the issues
with the HDHR2 like tuner sensitivity.
Pros:
- Doesn't require a kernel driver
- Doesn't have to be co-located with your backend, which is especially
useful in my case. I have a combined FE/BE in the entertainment center
but my HDHR is in the data closet in my office with the rest of my
network equipment.
- Well supported in MythTV.
Cons:
- Requires a network connection (If my router or switch goes out, I
loose my tuner).
