I use Tomato on an older WRT54G.  Tomato supports DHCP reservation by 
MAC address so, for instance, your hdhomerun will always have a 
predictable IP address.

Tomato will run on an older WRT45G, versions 1 through 4, not on V5 and 
newer.  See:
