[mythtv-users] HDPVR failure after replace

Greets. I had a HDPVR go south. I sent it for warranty replacement, got it back, and hooked it up without changing anything else on the system (FC12) or MythTV. Now it won't work. There is no /dev/video0, setup says "failed to open" and the log says

2011-11-05 14:04:24.056 Channel()::Open(): Can't open video device, error "No such file or directory"
2011-11-05 14:04:24.108 MythBackend, Error: No valid capture cards are defined in the database.

DMESG says

Linux video capture interface: v2.00
usbcore: registered new interface driver hdpvr

The HD-PVR help page on the wiki says "If dmesg only shows "registered new interface driver hdpvr" and no /dev/video# device has been created, you probably have a newer device than your kernel module supports." Sticker on the bottom of the HDPVR says "Rev F2" and I notice all the help pages refer to rev C2 at the highest. Unfortunately I didn't keep track of what rev the old one was.

Can anyone advise me how to proceed?

Thx,

Steve
