[mythtv-users] Card "Still Tuning"

Hi All,

I have two cards and one is not working within mythv

I have a problem in that one card shows the error "still tuning" when a 
recording starts and this of course results in a 0b length recording.

I have identified the slot in the PC where the card lives, replaced the card 
with an identical card and still get the same zero byte recording.

I ran scan-dvb to get a channels.conf and placed that into ./mplayer

So I checked that each card actually works with mplayer with the command

mplayer dvb://1@Film4
	(I am in the Uk)

This works ok for card 1, and the same adjusted command

"myplayer dvd://2@Film4

I can even run two players at once, each one having been tuned to a different 
MUX so that I am sure that mplayer is using a separate card for each output.

This card also works and confirms my thoughts that after replacing the suspect 
card with a spare that I have, made no difference to the fault.

Do I have to delete all my card definitions etc or is there something less 
destructive that can be done.

The cards have worked very well for quite some time. They are listed in dmesg 
as this...
