Hahah, If I did that, I would need about 20TB to get any reasonable amount
of normal shows too.  Recording all movies really isn't an option for those
with satellite or cable TV.  For that matter, neither is EIT.  12h is not
nearly long enough to get useful scheduling, but for those of us not
primarily using OTA, EIT is a moot point anyways.

The way scheduling works now (multiple available sources, etc) works well,
especially as different areas of the world have different requirements.
 Using only EIT would satisfy a small minority of MythTV users.  Not going
to happen any time soon.
