I only see this kind of audio pause of about 1/2 sec every 15secs
using HDMI if I come back out of stanby/hibernation. I assumed it was
Ubuntu general problem with HDMI and had read it was due to the HDMI
re-checking with the amplifier every 15 or so seconds. This is
different to the pauses I see in video every couple of minutes on
LiveTV... somewhere reported in this thread, although it now seems to
be covering all kinds of pausing problems ;o)
