I am running Fedora 12 with MythTV rel 0.24. Set top boxes are Scientific Atlanta 4250HD. With either or both firewire cables connected to the dvr (individual ports or daisy chained) I get normal operation for one recording at a time. A second simultaneous recording (on the 2nd STB) results in severe interference (audio & video) in the first recording, and no file generated for the second. Even though both STB's tune to correct channel, MythTV doesn't seem to know and gets stuck in tuning mode for the second recording. At the same time the interference with first begins. It looks like both recordings may be going to the same file.

The scrambling of the recording also contaminates some of the mythconverg tables. In addition, when I delete the scrambled files, it takes down the backend.

I know of someone that uses the same release, but uses 2 Motorola stb's daisy chained and gets normal results. Could there be incompatabilities with the Scientific Atlanta? Or some wrong parameter/definition, or fix missing, or.... Any suggestions
