[mythtv-users] 'lock shutdown' not working

i've had this issue for a while; i'm on mythbuntu 10.10 (mythtv 0.24, and
updates as of around 1.5weeks ago), however it's not worked since around
installation.

when in mythwelcome, and i go into the menu, there is an option to stop the
shutdown command from running, while you perform maintenance etc. even when
selected, and mythwelcome reports "backend is locked by user" (or something
similar; im away from mythtv right now), it will execute the shutdown
command.

i've watched the daemon process, and theres nothing being fed back to the
screen to indicate such action as been performed, so im not sure how to fix.

it is only a minor thing, as i'll either open mythfrontend, or close the
backend to stop the shutdown occuring when performing maintenance, but it'd
be good to get it fixed.

thanks for any help.
