[mythtv-users] move recordings to another, existing backend

I have a backend which I want to decommission.  It has existing 
recordings which are yet to be watched.  I have another pre-existing 
backend which I would like to move the recordings to.

I thought there was a tool at one that exported the metadata for 
recordings in a format that would allow one to just move the recording 
files to another backend and then would allow the metadata for the 
recordings to be imported into the database of the pre-existing backend.

I couldn't seem to find anything other than exporting sql dumps of an 
existing database for importing into an empty database of a new server. 
  That won't work for me since the machine I want to import into already 
has it's own dataset and recordings.
