Caution!  This is not always true!  Newer firmware versions can cause 
audio/video sync issues with
some satellite recievers.  My setup with a Dish network VIP211 and the 
newest firmware caused
significant audio/video sync issues.  Rolling firmware back to an early 
version fixed that issue.
