You don't need to upgrade all the computers at the same time, as long
as you stick to the same -fixes branch, you'll be fine. Only exception
is when a point-release gets released (for example 0.23.1 vs. 0.23),
which will break compatibility between the two releases. MythTV 0.23
had one point release and before that, you have to go back to MythTV
0.20 (~4 years ago), so it's not something that happens very often.
Also, if you use the Mythbuntu autobuilds for your Ubuntu
installations, the point releases will most likely be hold back - at
least they were when 0.23.1 got released - so you should never end up
with incompatible MythTV installations due to regular *buntu updates.
