Do the following.....

On your frontend go into Setup --> Edit Keys -->  JumpPoints --> Live TV

add

Shift+U

to the command field

ESC out and save

Now on your frontend machine edit the /home/username/.lircrc file

in the mythtv section add

begin
  remote=mceusb
  prog=mythtv
  button=LiveTV
  config=Shift+U
end

save and close the file

now reboot your frontend and it should work
