That depends on how you intend to use the drive. A laptop drive is only going to 
be rotating while the laptop is in use, and unless you use it as a desktop 
replacement it's going to be parked a majority of the time. A mythtv backend, 
however, particularly if it's the master backend, will be up 24/7. Yes, I do 
know about sending myth hosts to sleep, but my point remains. And how many hours 
does a front-end get used? I suppose that ultimately depends on your kids.
