Mike had no idea that there's anything that displays the playback group 
setting at the start of playback.  :)  I've never seen it before (in all 
my years of using MythTV).

Maybe it's a theme thing?  (FWIW, I use Arclight.)

Or maybe it only shows up if you define some non-default playback 
groups?  (I only have the default.)
