I recall having to modify the source code for one of the firewire
channel changing scripts and recompile it because the device id (model
and/or vendor, not sure which) was not in the code already.  I forgot
exactly what I was looking for, but I think plugreport gave me some
information.  I also think I had to run the first version in verbose
mode to get some of the needed info.
