I have it working fine, using both tuners. I followed the advice on

However some of that advice is out of date, as the drivers have been
updated since some of the parts were written.

What I had to do:

0. Make sure I had the latest version of the drivers and firmware. The
latest Ubuntu ones are fine, but I had had problems with an earlier
kernel shipped with Mandriva.
1. Force lna activation
2. Make sure that there is a 150 ms delay before it starts scanning EIT.
3. Set up only one tuner to scan EIT
