lol, I think you mean 'differently', as it still does what I want at
the end of the day. :)

Ah, I'd not seen it, which is annoying as I try to read this list a
fair bit. Annoyingly it's quite a 'noisy' problem so google gives back
some fairly random results. :)

I don't really use a 'distro' in that sense (it's a half upgraded
minimalist debian install technically.), and I tend to compile things
from source, so I'd only end up emailing myself. (It'd be someone to
talk to I suppose.)

I only use linux for myth and my mythbox is a cobbled together install
of various scripts and whatnot, I wouldn't advise anyone else to run
like this. (I'm happy to fix it if it goes wrong so I like the
flexibility it gives.)
