[mythtv-users] Channel changing started failing sometimes in .19?

Sorry, but I've searched the archives and web, and I don't see anything
quite like this. I have a .19 system that has been running perfectly
for a few years. Recently, I've not been updating software on my
machines, but I have updated schedules direct as DishNetwork adds
channels that I don't actually have.

Now, I can use the channel changing script manually to change the
channel to channel 7. I can watch live tv, and change the channel to
channel 7. But when I try to record something on channel 7, I am seeing
this in the logs:

2011-07-26 20:00:03.026 TVRec(1): Changing from None to RecordingOnly
2011-07-26 20:00:03.051 TVRec(1): HW Tuner: 1->1
2011-07-26 20:00:03.785 Channel(/dev/video0): SetInputAndFormat() failed
2011-07-26 20:00:03.792 TVRec(1) Error: Failed to set channel to 7.
Reverting to kState_None
2011-07-26 20:00:03.793 TVRec(1): Changing from RecordingOnly to None
2011-07-26 20:00:03.843 Canceled recording (Recorder Failed): Wipeout
"Wheel of Misfortune": channel 10714 on cardid 1, sourceid 1
2011-07-26 20:00:06.876 Error deleting
'/video/recordings/10714_20110726200000.mpg': No such file or directory

I was going to cut-and-paste the success case with live tv, but looking
in the logs, it doesn't appear to log the channel number in this case.

Now, I realize my system is relatively ancient, and I'm not looking for
a ton of support, but just some pointers to how to troubleshoot and
determine what the actual problem is... I don't think it's coding
related, I think somewhere along the way, some change in schedules
direct listing information is messed up.

All help appreciated.

Thanks,
Anthony
