[mythtv-users] Playback problem -- random short pauses

I've had a problem similar to #2  (on both my ion boxes) and yesterday I
found a solution that may work for some of you.

In my logs I had this error: ALSA, Error: Error opening
/proc/asound/card0/pcm1p/sub0/*prealloc*: Permission denied.

I checked the /proc/sound/card0/ directory and it didn't include any
sub-directories.
I found that for these directories to exists,  "Verbose procfs contents" had
to be enabled under the alsa config in the kernel.
Enabled, recompiled the kernel and all my pauses were gone.
These were mostly SD pauses, I don't recall HD ever giving me a problem.
I am running trunk as of 2 days ago.
