[mythtv-users] Tuner freezes after dual DVB-S2 recording

i too have a tbs6981 but it's working fine.
i've just tested BBC HD and BBC One HD simultaneously aswell as watch an SD
recording - works fine for me!

since reading your post, the one thing that has stuck in my head is a
possible hardware issue; lack of power/speed.
cpu - underpowered
ram are you in dual-channel mode? - an issue on the Atom based boards when
running only a single stick of ram.
HDD - how fast?

for reference, im on an intel core2duo E6550, 2gb DDR2 (1 stick), and a
7200rpm 16mb cache SATA drive.
